Integrating E-Cinch With Your Website
Start by adding several “Get a Quote” buttons on your website.
Pro tips: Place these buttons strategically throughout your site so they flow naturally with the content and navigation on your site. If you have pages on your site that are longer, make sure you break up the content with "Get a Quote" buttons so you don't scroll too long without seeing the button. Advertise near the button that the quotes are instant and no-strings-attached. Make the buttons stand out from the background they are on. Checkout blacklab-ventures.com for good examples of button placement.
There are two ways to integrate E-Cinch with your website:
- Direct customers from the "Get a Quote" button directly to E-Cinch.
- Direct customers from "Get a Quote" to a lead capture form on your website and from there to E-Cinch (recommended).
This option is best for customers who don't have a CRM. The benefit of this method is that you make the process of getting a quote as simple and fast as possible. The downside is that by skipping the lead capture form and directing people immediately to E-Cinch, you are forfeiting the ability to capture information on your leads in order to nurture them in your marketing. For example, if a lead goes to E-Cinch but does not submit a proposal, you will not have saved any information about them in order to approach them at a future time.
To implement this method, simply copy and paste your E-Cinch marketplace URL into the button link field on your website's backend. To find your E-Cinch marketplace URL:
- Log in to E-Cinch
- Click on "Marketplace" in the top navigation bar
- Copy the URL. It should look something like this: "https://eventcinch.com/marketplace/123"
Pro tip: if you only have 1 package in E-Cinch, use the direct link to your package (instead of your marketplace) so your leads can skip a step. To find your package URL: 1) Log in to E-Cinch 2) Click on "Packages" in the top navigation bar 3) Click "View" 4) Copy the URL. It should look something like this: "https://eventcinch.com/package/123"
This option is ideal for people who use a CRM. This option allows you to capture lead information before letting your leads see your pricing, and in doing so acts as a fail safe so you don’t lose the lead if the potential client doesn’t save their E-Cinch package.
To implement this method:
- Create a “Get a Quote” landing page on your website.
- Direct all of your website's “Get a Quote” buttons to this page.
- On the “Get a Quote” page, add a CRM form with the following fields.
- First & Last Name
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Event Type (make this a dropdown with the following selection options: Wedding, Special Occasion, Corporate Event, Promotional Event, Fundraiser, Other)
- On the backend of the CRM form, set the redirect to point to your E-Cinch marketplace or package URL.
