Multiple packages, once edited and put together, make up your E-Cinch Marketplace. You can either direct your customers and leads to a specific package or to your overall marketplace (leaving them to choose a specific package) once they have been created and published.
The best way to work with packages is to import the template that most accurately reflects your business model from the template library to your account, then edit it to contain all of your details, and then copy and edit that package to make any additional smaller packages you wish to have in your marketplace.
Before you choose a template, it’s helpful if you already know what goods and services you want to sell and how much they will cost. If you don’t know your prices yet or if you want to see how we recommend doing it, read our blog article on cost analysis and pricing.
Several factors influence which package template(s) is right for you and your business. We have developed a decision tree to help guide you to the right package for your business.
After you’ve identified your industry, next you’ll want to decide what niche you primarily fit into. For example, if you primarily offer Bartending Services, but you also want to offer a coffee upgrade, follow the Bartending Services niche. However, if you primarily offer Coffee, then the Coffee niche is for you.
Sometimes, a niche can have some extra details that you’ll have to consider. For example, within any niche related to alcohol, you can either have a liquor license or not.
After you know what industry, niche, and any niche categories you fall into, you’ll need to determine how you want to price your goods and services. Some people prefer to itemize everything in their packages. Others prefer to bundle their goods and services. If you want to learn more about each method, read this blog article. If you already know which method you’d like to implement, keep reading!
For certain templates (in particular, the itemized ones), we have some variations that are less robust and others that are more robust. We recommend starting with the most robust template that still fits your business needs, getting that fully edited and ready to go, and then copying and reducing/deleting the details to make any simpler/smaller packages.
For example, the “Full Bar with Alcohol” package contains everything that the “Limited Cocktail Bar with Alcohol” package contains and then some. If you want to offer more than one package, it is most efficient to import and edit the “Full Bar with Alcohol" package first, and then copy it (see Copying an Existing Package) and edit it (see Editing a Package) down to a “Limited Cocktail Bar with Alcohol” package as opposed to importing both templates from the library and building out both templates from scratch.
