Copying an Existing Package

Copying an Existing Package

There are 3 ways to create a package in E-Cinch. You can import a package template from the E-Cinch package library (we recommend doing this for your very first package or when you want to launch a new offering), you can create your own package from scratch, or you can copy one of your existing packages. We recommend duplicating and editing one of your own packages when you want to create a similar package to one that is already in your marketplace.

To copy or duplicate an existing package, go to the Package Dashboard by clicking on “Packages” in the top navigation bar. Find the package you wish to copy and note the Package ID, which you can find on the left side of the row for that package.

Click the “Copy” button.

The copied package will appear within a few seconds in your Package Dashboard and you'll be able to edit it. The name will be the same as the original package (until you change it), but it will have a different Package ID. You're now ready to follow our step-by-step guide on Editing a Package.
Pro-tip: Check the “Exclude From Market” box of your copied package until you have finished editing it and you’re ready for customers to see it.
